The brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Pi Mu Chapter, will host the "Inaugural Black Excellence Academic Celebration." The celebration will take place tomorrow (Feb. 21) at 7 p.m. in the Shenandoah Room of the Mountainlair.

Program workshops are open to intermediate-level string players, ages 10-to-adult. Some knowledge of how to play the instrument is required, but oldtime experience is not. The stand-alone, one-evening workshops (or come back every month) happen Wednesday evenings Feb. 21, April 25, May 16, and Tuesday June 26 from 6:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., in the Creative Arts Center.
The WVU Humanities Center and the WVU ADVANCE Center’s signature program, Advocates and Allies, hosted a panel discussion Monday (Feb. 19) on how all faculty, particularly male faculty, can help foster safe and inclusive work environments.

The event, “How not to be a bystander: The role of male faculty after #MeToo,” will be held on toda (Feb. 19) from 4 p.m. to-5:30 p.m. in the Mountainlair Rhododendron Room.
