Program workshops are open to intermediate-level string players, ages 10-to-adult. Some knowledge of how to play the instrument is required, but oldtime experience is not. The stand-alone, one-evening workshops (or come back every month) happen Wednesday evenings Feb. 21, April 25, May 16, and Tuesday June 26 from 6:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., in the Creative Arts Center.

The WVU ADVANCE Center’s signature initiatives program, Advocates and Allies, and the WVU Humanities Center will host a panel discussion on the role of faculty members in preventing sexual harassment on campus. The event, “How not to be a bystander: The role of male faculty after #MeToo,” will be held on toda (Feb. 19) from 4 p.m. to-5:30 p.m. in the Mountainlair Rhododendron Room.

Students in the WVU College of Creative Arts perform more than 300 events per year in many venues across campus, Morgantown and the state. Many of the events are free to the public and family friendly. The following is a list of this week’s events.
