For the second summer, WVU families can enjoy Summer Learning Bundles with grade-specific activities for their children—a collaborative effort from Faculty Senate leadership, the College of Education and Human Services, the WVU Art Museum and the Office of the Provost. This year’s bundles highlight lesson plans and activities designed by students in elementary education, music education, and art and design.

Joshua Imes, associate registrar for operations in the WVU Office of University Registrar, was recently appointed as interim university registrar, following the departure of Aimee Pfeifer. As interim registrar, Imes will oversee the business affairs and operations of the Office of the Registrar, including graduation and degree audit, registration, grading and all academic record-keeping for WVU.
The Office of the Provost has announced the hiring of Paul Heddings as the new director of the Office of Academic Integrity at WVU. Heddings brings a unique blend of expertise and experience to WVU. Before joining the University, he served as a prosecuting attorney in Kansas City, Missouri, and as chief prosecutor for the White Collar and Public Corruption Unit, he investigated and prosecuted matters of public corruption in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Tracy Morris, a professor of psychology and current dean of the WVU College of Education and Human Services, will soon join the Office of the Provost as West Virginia University’s new associate provost for academic personnel. She was selected through an internal, University-wide search process.
