The Office of the Provost is launching efforts to create a new general education curriculum designed to better serve the University’s undergraduate students. Up to four faculty members are being sought to serve as leads throughout this multi-year process, driving the process forward through institutional collaboration.
Faculty, staff and students should plan to use alternative transportation during spring break, March 15-23, including Mountain Line buses that are free to ride with a valid WVU ID. University community members can also store their vehicle in the upper level of the Mountainlair parking garage or Area 81 at Mountaineer Station for $10.
The ADVANCE Center supports faculty, graduate students and leadership through professional development and networking opportunities, workshops, webinars and other resources focused on disrupting institutional inequities, team building, and personal and professional growth.
The Faculty Fellowship allows educators to collaborate with museum staff to develop an approximately 30-50 object exhibition that integrates themes and concepts from their teaching and research practice with the Art Museum’s holdings. Applications are due by March 28.
Aligned with the core values of WVU, the annual performance review process is designed to measure an employee’s capabilities, accomplishments, development and overall contributions to the University, as well as the critical role each employee plays in bringing our land-grant mission to life. The 2024 performance review period will cover Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024.
