Safety and Health Extension is offering confined space training to WVU employees. Sessions are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m. on both March 20 and March 22 in Lyon Tower room G08.

Boris Barkanov encourages faculty and staff to promote this opportunity students who may be interested in Eastern European and Russian politics, as well as, energy security and policy to participate in a course on Eastern European IR and Security this summer. The brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Pi Mu Chapter, will host the "Inaugural Black Excellence Academic Celebration." The celebration will take place tomorrow (Feb. 21) at 7 p.m. in the Shenandoah Room of the Mountainlair.
Program workshops are open to intermediate-level string players, ages 10-to-adult. Some knowledge of how to play the instrument is required, but oldtime experience is not. The stand-alone, one-evening workshops (or come back every month) happen Wednesday evenings Feb. 21, April 25, May 16, and Tuesday June 26 from 6:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., in the Creative Arts Center.
The WVU Humanities Center and the WVU ADVANCE Center’s signature program, Advocates and Allies, hosted a panel discussion Monday (Feb. 19) on how all faculty, particularly male faculty, can help foster safe and inclusive work environments.
