All WVU-owned or -managed computers that are still using Windows 10 and cannot upgrade to Windows 11 must be replaced by Sept. 30. Machines that have not been upgraded or replaced by that date will be removed from the WVU network to eliminate security risks, except in extremely rare circumstances that will need to be approved in advance.

In order to provide students with an accurate picture of anticipated textbook costs for fall 2025, faculty and instructors are reminded to identify their course materials no matter if they are re-adopting the same textbooks/materials they use for a course, making changes to their textbooks/materials or not requiring textbooks/materials. To submit and confirm Fall 2025 textbook information, faculty/instructors can visit the Adoption Insight Portal accessible through the WVU Portal.

Beginning Thursday, July 31, the University will distribute Notice of Appointment letters for the 2025-26 Fiscal Year to eligible non-classified staff, faculty and faculty-equivalent/academic professionals.
