The WVU community is invited to attend a farewell reception for CEHS Dean Gypsy Denzine, scheduled for July 26 at 5:30 p.m. in the rooftop lounge of the Evansdale Crossing at WVU.

The Morgantown Police Department will alter traffic patterns Wednesday (July 4) for the Fourth of July Parade beginning at 5:30 p.m. and for the Celebration of America Concert and Fireworks in the downtown area.
As part of the local July Fourth “Celebration of America,” the Morgantown Municipal Band will perform its annual Independence Day program on Wednesday. The concert will begin at 11 a.m. under the Front Overhang at the Creative Arts Center.
Local author and alumna Emily Calandrelli ("The Space Gal ") will host a STEM Fair and book signing at Barnes & Noble at the University Town Center Sunday (July 1).
The Foundation is acknowledging those alumni and friends of WVU who have created endowed scholarships, fellowships and student awards in calendar year 2017. Eighty-three donors are being honored by having bricks engraved with their name placed in the Ernest L. Hogan Scholars Walk, the pathway located at the downtown campus library.
Jeffrey Allen Steiger, artistic director of the CRLT Players at the University of Michigan, and his theatre troupe will perform for campus leaders at the 2018 Chairs’ Symposium Aug. 13.
