If you know a student who has an idea for a product, the Manufacturing Day Pitch Competition Oct. 8 from 5-7 p.m. is for them. Hosted by the West Virginia Manufacturing Extension Partnership and the WVU Mining and Industrial Extension in Room 413 at Evansdale Crossing, students can pitch their ideas for the chance to win money.

Faculty are invited to learn how to play a role in change on campus from national expert Adrianna Kezar Sept. 26 from 1-3 p.m. in the Mountaineer Room at the Mountainlair.
Staff Council will meet Sept.18 at 8:15 a.m. at the Mountainlair, Rhododendron Room.
Children of all employees, faculty and students are welcome to the first Kids Night Out at the Student Recreation Center Sept. 20 at 5:30 p.m. For children grades 1-6, this new program with Campus Recreation allows children to have supervised fun so adults can have some time to themselves.
