The Center for Black Culture & Research and the Student Rec Center present CrossOver Pickup Basketball today (Feb. 3) and every Thursday at the Student Rec Center upstairs basketball courts from 3- 5 p.m. Join us for Live music, live play-by-play, digital scoreboards and prizes for the winner of games.
The WVU Humanities Center will host a hybrid workshop for faculty members on the value of Humanistic STEM learning in academia Friday (Feb. 4) at noon via Zoom. Due to inclement weather and air travel concerns, the center will offer the workshop as a Zoom-only, rather than as a hybrid event.
WVU Libraries will host an Open Textbook Workshop and Textbook Review March 10 at 10 a.m. that will help instructors explore possible open textbook solutions to address the growing cost of textbooks.
In a two-part event Feb. 3 and 4, the LGBTQ+ Center will seek to educate the community on legislative updates, as well as how to properly connect with representatives through handwritten letters.
WVU and WVU Research Corporation benefits-eligible employees can discuss their personal financial situations with an experienced TIAA financial consultant on a confidential basis. Spots remain for virtual counseling sessions in February and March.
