The campus community is invited to attend the anti-racism experience titled “A Long Talk About the Uncomfortable Truth” on Feb. 15 and 22 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The two-day event will begin with a virtual conference organized as thoughtful conversations where participants are asked to listen, view and respond in real time. The discussions will include large and small group settings using the breakout rooms feature.

The WVU Campus Food Garden is preparing for another semester of growing food for local food security organizations. In continuing to provide educational experiences for the University and surrounding community on a variety of food justice and garden-based topics, the Hungry Seminars return Feb. 14 at noon in G25 Brooks Hall.
WVU Libraries will host its “Amplifying Appalachia” Art + Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon, an effort to amplify the stories and figures of under-represented Appalachian artists, writersVand other creators, particularly women, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals. “Amplifying Appalachia” is open to all and will run virtually from March 21-25.
The West Virginia Public Education Collaborative invites WVU colleges, departments, units, student organizations, service centers and extracurricular groups on- and off- campus to join Remake Learning Days in West Virginia from May 12-23 by hosting events on campus or in the local community. The deadline to submit events is Feb. 14.
