On March 7, Governor Jim Justice signed into law House Bill 2526, which immediately reduced the state income tax rate for West Virginia residents. For WVU employees with West Virginia state income tax withholdings, the new tax tables will be applied on the April 7 pay date.

The West Virginia University Innovation Corporation announced Monday (March 20) that three new science and technology tenants — California-based GATV Health Corp and Yunigen, LLC, and Morgantown-based ExesaLibero Pharma — will be leasing space in the Chestnut Ridge Road facility.
President Gordon Gee will deliver his spring State of the University address next Monday, March 27. The campus community is invited to join the event which will begin at 10 a.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. The address will be followed by an audience Q&A session.
