The WVU Human Performance Lab is seeking participants ages 25-65 who meet certain criteria for this research study. Appointments will take place from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday (Feb. 22) in the Student Health Building, Room 101.

3-Minute Thesis  

Competitors must succinctly pitch their research to audience members and judges who have no background experience in their research area. Tiered cash prizes will be awarded to finalists without any obligation for future work or service. Students need to submit a video of their presentation by 11:59 p.m. tonight (Feb. 15).

Power Lines  

Greg Dahle, associate professor of arboriculture and urban forestry at the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design, is developing a method — with the help of artificial intelligence — to identify trees at risk of falling on power lines and causing blackouts.
