As fans prepare to travel to the Coliseum to cheer on the Mountaineers, the WVU Police Department is providing safety tips.
WVU alumnus Cordell McClung credits his experience working with WVU women’s basketball and longtime coach Mike Carey for where he is today — a small business owner training athletes of all ages and helping them to reach their goals.
The 2024 National Academic Advising Conference was held in Pittsburgh Oct. 27-30, providing professional and faculty academic advisers and administrators from across the country, including WVU, a chance to network with peers, share best practices and highlight recent successes. The University made a strong showing at the conference with more than two dozen attendees, multiple presenters and a scholarship winner.
Those with Environmental Health and Safety encourage everyone to replace the batteries in their smoke alarms and carbon dioxide detectors as we “fall back” for daylight saving time beginning at 2 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 3).
During the 2023-24 academic year, WELLWVU staff members made direct contact with more than 6,000 students on campus through over 160 outreach events, a number which does not include online modules that students complete on their own.
