The family of James Brick, MD, has invited the Health Sciences and WVU Medicine community to join his family and friends in celebrating his life and service to the University and state at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, in the Okey Patteson Auditorium.

Marjorie Fuller will speak on the importance of Kwanzaa and its role in the African-American community. Drinks and refreshments will be provided. This event starts at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.
The ceramics program in the School of Art and Design will host its fall Ceramics Sale in the lobby of the Creative Arts Center Friday and Saturday (Dec. 1 and 2). Plates, bowls, mugs, vases and more will be available, including new West Virginia stamped mugs. The sale is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The Center for Excellence in STEM Education invites the WVU community and locals to celebrate Computer Science Education Week, Dec. 4-10, by participating in an Hour of Code on Dec. 5 at the Downtown Library in Classroom 136, anytime between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
