A vigil is planned for 7 p.m. tonight (Monday, Oct. 29) to remember the victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue victims in Saturday’s attack in Pittsburgh. The hour-long vigil, sponsored by Jewish students at West Virginia University, will be held in Woodburn Circle and is open to the public.

Faculty and staff are invited to attend an “Ask IT” forum in the Shenandoah Room of the Mountainlair 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 30). Chief Information Officer Barb Dawson will give an update on Information Technology Services projects and achievements over the past year, and discuss both current and coming initiatives.
Donations of new or gently used clean coats, gloves, hats and scarves are being collected to help WVU Employees and their families stay warm this winter. Look for donation boxes around campus. The drive ends Friday (Nov. 2).
Faculty and staff can keep their blood pressure in check at one of two campus Blood Pressure Self Monitor Stations provided by WVU Extension Service. The stations are located at 607 Knapp Hall and lG205 in the Agricultural Science Building on the Evansdale Campus.
