Get your blood pressure in check, learn about heart health at open house event

Blood pressure equipment on a table.

Faculty and staff can keep their blood pressure in check at one of two campus Blood Pressure Self Monitor Stations provided by WVU Extension Service. The stations are located at 607 Knapp Hall and lG205 in the Agricultural Science Building on the Evansdale Campus.

Faculty, staff and students are invited to Extension's open house events Tuesday (Oct. 30) from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at both locations. Stop by to check your blood pressure, learn about heart health and enjoy heart healthy refreshments.

WVU employees and students are encouraged to use the BP stations anytime during regular office hours to track their blood pressure. In addition to the sites located on the Morgantown Campus, BP stations are located throughout the state, including at many county Extension offices and other locations. You can find a station nearest you by reviewing the online map. The stations are sponsored by a grant from the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health.
