Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend an “Ask IT” forum at the Erickson Alumni Center from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday (March 26). Chief Information Officer Barb Dawson will give an update on technology projects with broad impact and will discuss coming initiatives.

Matheny has worked for WVU for more than 36 years, and all within the Division of Finance; she started out in the Business Office, and moved into Accounts Payable, spent some time in the Payroll and Travel Offices before spending the last 19 years, working with the Sponsored Research Accounting team. During the last two years of her employment, she has served as the back-up administrative assistant for the offices of the AVP of Finance.
The session, “Supervisor Solutions Topic II - Leading Self and Teams,” will be held Thursday (March 28) at 8:15 a.m. in the Rhododendron Room at the Mountainlair. It examine the fundamental aspects of the supervisor’s role in leading, developing, and coaching effective work teams.

The celebration begins today (March 25) at four locations—the Mountainlair, the College of Law, Health Sciences Center and Engineering Sciences Building—with a cake cutting ceremony. Other highlights include self-care workshops, Family Movie Night and a social event on Saturday evening (March 30) to close out the week.

Faculty and staff are invited to welcome hundreds of admitted high school seniors and transfer students and their families to the Morgantown Campus as they participate in events across campus from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
