Faculty, staff and students on all WVU campuses should anticipate brief, intermittent disruptions of internet service from 4-6:30 a.m. Sunday (March 15). This includes residence halls, High Performance Computing services, Beckley, Keyser and Health Sciences campuses, and the city of Morgantown. Ruby Memorial Hospital won’t be affected.

Sophomore Honors College student Colson Glover has fulfilled his lifelong dream to serve the University and the people of his home state as the Mountaineer mascot. The Lewisburg native was announced as the 67th Mountaineer Saturday at the men’s basketball game vs. Baylor.
West Virginia University has launched a website dedicated to information about the COVID-19 coronavirus and the University’s response and plans should the disease begin to affect the institution and community. In addition, the University released a video with information and advice from Dr. Kathryn Moffett, an infectious diseases expert at WVU. The video provides important information about the virus and tips to help keep students, faculty, staff and surrounding community well.
