In cooperation with The Daily Athenaeum and WWVU radio, “Behind the Bowtie: A student conversation with President Gee” will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Gluck Theatre in the Mountainlair. A panel of students, moderated by DA Editor Douglas Soule, will ask Gee to discuss issues of importance to students.
H. R. Scott, County Program Coordinator, Extension Agent, Agriculture and Natural Resources, WVU Extension Services, Monongalia County, will talk about “The Changing Face of Monongalia County Extension” Wednesday (March 4) at 2:30 p.m. at the Village at Heritage Point.
Continuing the focus on “The Future” as the Humanities Center’s 2019-2020 Speakers Series theme, the Center will host WVU’s own Johanna Winant from the Eberly College’s Department of English to present her work, “Predictive Texts: Logic, Form, and Poetry.” Faculty, staff, students and community members are welcome to attend March 10 at 7 p.m. in the Milano Reading Room of the Downtown Library.
As part of its 2019-2020 Films Series, the WVU Humanities Center and WVU Libraries next free film screening will be held Wednesday (March 4) at 7 p.m. in the Gluck Theatre.
