West Virginia University students, faculty, staff and the general public are invited to a free information session to learn more about living tobacco- or vape-free. The session, set for Wednesday, March 11 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the WVU Student Recreation Center, will offer information about an upcoming six-week cooperative program that will equip participants with the tools necessary to consider, curb or cut tobacco or vaping use entirely.
Staff Council and WVU Libraries teams invite students, faculty and staff to take part in Team Trivia Night Thursday (March 5), from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Mountainlair’s Shenandoah Room.
The School of Music is proud to be hosting the United States Air Force Band from Washington, D.C., March 11, at 8 p.m. in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theater. Admission to the concert is free, but tickets will be required. These free tickets may be reserved by calling the School of Music office at 304-293-5511. The WVU Planetarium will present the film “Outlier: The Story of Katherine Johnson” Friday (March 6) at 7 p.m., followed by telescope viewing if the weather is nice.
