The namesake of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act of 2009, Lilly Ledbetter, will discuss gender pay equity as part of the Hardesty Festival of Ideas. The lecture is scheduled for March 10 in the Mountainlair Ballrooms beginning at 7:30 p.m. A book signing will follow.

There are two opportunities to attend this Research Commons workshop: March 10 and 12. Both sessions will run 3-4 p.m. and be in the Evansdale Library, Classroom 130.

“Finding Neverland,” the musical that made audiences believe in their imagination, will be making its way to the WVU Creative Arts Center for one show only March 23 at 7:30 p.m. “Finding Neverland” is based on the Academy Award-winning Miramax motion picture by David Magee and the play “The Man Who Was Peter Pan” by Allan Knee.

The March Idea Challenge, scheduled for March 28, is a national pitch competition open to all students from all universities. To apply, students must create a 90-second video that provides a description of their ideas, as well as the problem it solves or the opportunity it creates.
