The WVU Retiree Association, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, will host a blood drive Thursday, April 7, from 11:30 a.m, - 5:00 p.m. in the Nutting Gallery of the WVU Erickson Alumni Center.

Fall 2022 incoming freshman students may now register for Virtual New Student Orientation, which includes access to 90 minutes of NSO modules and an online appointment with a professional adviser to finalize their class schedule. After registering for Virtual NSO, students and their families may register for Destination WVU—an optional, in-person open house event that will take place weekdays throughout June.
Due to anticipated decreased demand as a result of spring break next week, West Virginia University and the Monongalia County Health Department have decided to postpone the pop-up COVID-19 vaccine at the Mountainlair originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 16. The Mountainlair pop-up clinic will be rescheduled for a later date in the semester.
The next Children on Campus quarterly meeting will focus on higher education resources available for youth who have been in foster care. The meeting is set for Wednesday, March 23, from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Zoom. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The histories of traditionally marginalized groups have long gone unrepresented in archives. As part of its effort to reduce that disparity, the West Virginia & Regional History Center will host researcher and author Susan Ferentinos to discuss how to better represent LGBTQ+ communities in archival collections.
