The additional funds, totaling $200,000 over two years, will support specialization within WVU’s Rural Integrated Behavioral Health Training Program, where Master of Social Work students focus their studies on integrated behavioral health for people at all stages of life.

R. Scott Kretchmar, one of the top sport philosophers in the country, will visit campus Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. to discuss improving youth sport. The Bolton Center for Sports Ethics will host the lecture at the Evansdale Crossing building (EVC-E 414). This event is free and open to the public.

The W. Christopher and Gina Ann Taylor Scholarship, established by St. Albans residents Chris and Gina Taylor, is a scholarship open to deserving students of any major at the Davis College. The $30,000 pledge will set up a permanent endowment that will benefit generations of Davis College students.
A team of Mountaineers has won the Race to the Case Supply Chain Management Competition every year since 2015, as students captured WVU’s fourth consecutive Race to the Case crown Saturday (Sept. 22) in Pittsburgh among a field of teams that included the University of Pittsburgh, Penn State University and Carnegie Mellon University.
