Flood Relief  

In response to the devastating floods affecting Southern West Virginia, WVU is leading a campuswide Flood Relief Donation Drive to provide critical support to families and communities in need. The primary donation site at the Erickson Alumni Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today (Feb. 25) and tomorrow (Feb. 26) and from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday (Feb. 27).

Mountaineer Mascot Finalists  

Four students vying to become the 71st Mountaineer mascot will wear buckskins, a coonskin cap and carry a rifle as they compete in a cheer-off during the men’s basketball game against TCU at 9 p.m. tonight (Feb. 25) in the Coliseum.

Hydration Station  

WELLWVU invites University departments and organizations to sponsor a Hydration Station from 8-11 p.m. on a Friday evening in April. The event offers faculty and staff a fun opportunity to interact with students while encouraging safety and well-being, and promoting your department or organization.

The Center for Black Culture will host Damon Young as he reads excerpts from his memoir titled “What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Blacker: A Memoir In Essays” beginning at 7:30 p.m. today (Feb. 24) in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.

Housing Fair  

Students will have the opportunity to meet local landlords, explore their housing options and enter to win a one-year parking permit from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 26) in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.
