The Center for Black Culture will host Damon Young as he reads excerpts from his memoir titled “What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Blacker: A Memoir In Essays” beginning at 7:30 p.m. Monday (Feb. 24) in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.
VOCES8, a 2023 Grammy-nominated British vocal ensemble, will perform as part of the Canady Chamber Series at 7:30 p.m. on March 1 in the Canady Creative Arts Center. The a cappella octet was formed in 2005 and has since performed at venues around the world.
Wood sourced from WVU properties and milled by faculty, staff and students is available for purchase. All lumber is Number 1 Common grade or higher.
The murder mystery, performed by students from the School of Theatre and Dance, will premiere on Feb. 27 in the Canady Creative Arts Center, Gladys G. Davis Theatre. Note that the play contains content that may not be suitable for all audiences.
