University faculty, staff and students are encouraged to participate in a blood drive challenge to benefit the American Red Cross and beat Penn State from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow (Aug. 30) in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.

The WVU Staff Council challenged the Penn State University Staff Advisory Council to a competition prior to the home football opener against the Nittany Lions at Milan Puskar Stadium on Saturday (Aug. 31).
The winner of the competition (whichever donates the most units) will be announced during the game.
The American Red Cross is facing an emergency blood shortage as its national blood supply has dropped 25% since July 1. All blood types are urgently needed.
