Adventure WV's spring guided trips are open to current WVU students, faculty and staff as well as immediate family. Adventure WV will take a shuttle to WISP Tuesdays and Wednesdays - one day every other week - at 3:30 p.m. Each trip allows for 10 students.

SRC Leisure Pool has been reopened.  

Pump repair having concluded, the SRC Leisure Pool has been reopened. All aquatic programs have returned to normal operation.

The Internal Revenue Service has announced the dollar limitations for retirement plans for the 2019 tax year. The 403(b) & 457(b) contribution limits increase from $18,500 to $19,000 with an unchanged age 50 catch up contribution of $6,000. The 401(a) compensation limit increases from $275,000 to $280,000.

A group of West Virginia University students is addressing the growing problem of “food deserts” in the state, as the combination of a declining rural population and below average income have left many West Virginians living significant distances from supermarkets and reliable food sources. That project, as Associate Professor John Saldanha explains in the latest edition of Inside WVU today, may not only help with West Virginia’s food access problem, but may also address the problem on a global scale.
