An 8 Pin No-Tap Team Bowling Tournament will be held March 3-7 at 6 p.m. at the Mountainlair. Your team will bowl three games one night (you choose the night). Trophies will be awarded to the Top 10 Teams and Top Women’s and Men’s Series.

West Virginia University sophomore Timothy Eads can cross off one item from the bucket list he created his freshman year of high school—to serve as the Mountaineer Mascot. Eads heard his name announced as the next Mountaineer Tuesday (Feb. 25) at the men’s basketball game vs. Texas Christian University.

Go to Kaspersky’s website and follow the instructions for Windows or macOS. If you have problems, visit one of the ITS Service Centers for assistance.

WVU Extension Service has long been known for bringing educational research and know-how to homes and communities throughout West Virginia. Now, WVU Extension Service’s Ohio County agriculture and natural resources agent Karen Cox is teaming with the Belmont County Extension Educator from The Ohio State University, Dan Lima, to expand that information to West Virginians, Ohioans and the world via the “Extension Calling” podcast.

The Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia will convene at WVU Law March 5 to hear arguments in three cases. The court convenes at 10 a.m. in the Marlyn E. Lugar Courtroom. Admission is free and the court’s session is open to the public. Seating begins at 9 a.m.
