Kacey DiGiacinto was named to the Vice Chancellor’s Leadership Academy at Elizabeth City State University for fall 2018. Since her appointment, she has helped to engage university faculty in leadership activities across campus, with improvements in academic results.

The WVU Cancer Institute Lung Cancer Screening Program will provide screenings for current and former smokers from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 15 at the WVU Medicine outpatient center located at University Town Centre.

Marc W. Haut has been chosen to serve in a new leadership role as vice chair and director of clinical research and education for the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. Currently the chair of the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry, Haut is also professor in the Departments of Neuroscience, Neurology and Radiology and the WVU Cancer Institute.

Undergraduates from all majors are invited to submit abstracts for presentation of scholarly works at the Third Annual Undergraduate Spring Symposium April 12-13 at the WVU Mountainlair. Faculty are encouraged to inform undergraduates of this opportunity.
