Fulbright art seminar  

The Art Museum of West Virginia University Educational Programs Manager Heather Harris was one of 26 museum professionals selected to attend a transatlantic seminar organized by Fulbright Germany and the Leibniz Association, in cooperation with the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.

Social work students  

The guide, which covers 26 service areas from AIDS/HIV services to veterans’ services, was wholly researched and designed by the students, under the instruction of Carol Amendola, the course instructor who also serves as their academic advisor and the School of Social Work's BSW program coordinator.

Preparing for a successful job interview can cause doubt and stress. Students in the CPASS physical education and kinesiology program gained valuable career insight in a recent workshop, featuring David Goldfarb, Fairfax County, Va. Public Schools, special projects administrator, office of talent acquisition and management.

Corey Atkins  

The School of Theatre & Dance is thrilled to have Corey Atkins as a guest director for the school's production of “Twelfth Night.” Atkins is a New York City-based, director who has worked with Lincoln Center Theatre/Institute, Noor Theatre/NYTW, The Acting Company, Cleveland Play House, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Hangar Theatre, Portland Stage Company and Evan Bernardin Productions, among many others.
