Lucy Qui, assistant professor of public policy at the University of Maryland, will present "Co-damages from particulate air pollution: Evidence from high-frequency electricity data" at 2 p.m. on Jan. 31, in 4004 Agricultural Sciences Building.
She will discuss the importance of accurately assessing uncompensated environmental effects of electricity production and consumption when when designing and evaluating environmental policies.
The seminar is sponsored by the Division of Resource Economics and Management in the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design.
