A total of 6,829 WVU students earned honors during the fall semester. In all, 3,815 students were named to the Dean’s List, having earned a 3.5 grade point average or higher, and another 3,014 students were named to the President’s List for earning a 4.0 GPA.

One person was hurt in the shooting that was reported before 11:45 p.m. Monday (Jan. 23) in the 500 block area. The incident happened off campus, but in an area where students commonly live. Because of this, it was determined to send a text alert to the University community.
W-2 forms will be available online for all current WVU employees after midnight tonight (Jan. 23) under the MyHR tab at portal.wvu.edu. Paper copies will be mailed to the employee’s home address on or before Jan. 31.
