Ceili McCabe  

After setting a new course record with a 5K time of 16:23.9 at the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic in Louisville, Kentucky, redshirt junior Ceili McCabe has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week.

Spacing, offensive efficiency, player versatility, making the proper reads and not having just one primary ball handler are some of the key concepts Dawn Plitzuweit is implementing for the Mountaineers.

The Mountaineers claimed both disciplines in the Saturday match, winning smallbore by a score of 2337-2291, and air rifle, 2375-2354. WVU is now 16-2 all-time against UM.

The Mountaineers secured their first victory over the Longhorns this week with a total weight of 3,848 pounds. The two Universities contributed more than 4,300 pounds of canned goods and non-perishable foods to their respective on-campus food pantries.
