The regular season, which opens in October, features four contests at home, six on the road and one neutral site match. All home regular-season matches will be held at the WVU Rifle Range or the Shell Building.

After scoring two goals against JMU on Sept. 5, junior forward Ajanae Respass with the women’s soccer team has been named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week.
The women’s basketball team will host local middle and elementary schools in celebration of Education Day on Friday, Dec. 6. Tipoff against East Tennessee State is set for 10:15 a.m. at the Coliseum. Complimentary admission will be provided to students, staff and chaperones of attending schools.
In a rematch of the 2023 NCAA quarterfinals, the No. 1 men’s soccer team played to a scoreless draw at Loyola Marymount Tuesday (Sept. 10) at Sullivan Field in Los Angeles.
The Big 12 Conference has announced a noon kickoff time for the Sept. 21 football conference opener against Kansas at Milan Puskar Stadium. The game is also the annual WVU Sports Hall of Fame game, with a special induction ceremony that is open to the public at 9 a.m. in the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility.
