The baseball team is back on the road this weekend for a three-game series at Texas Tech. First pitch is 7:30 p.m. tonight (April 19), 3 p.m. Saturday (April 20) and 2 p.m. Sunday (April 21) in Lubbock, Texas.

Riggs has led the Mountaineers since 2007. He coached 37 NCAA qualifiers, 15 NCAA All-Americans, 19 Academic All-Americans, eight Big 12 Scholar-Athletes of the Year and 21 qualifiers for the Olympic Trials.
On Wednesday (April 17), head coach Darian DeVries announced the hiring of Frazier who brings more than a decade of coaching experience from the ACC, Big 12 and Big Ten conferences to the Mountaineer men’s basketball program. A Baltimore native, Frazier served as an assistant coach at Illinois for the past three seasons.
More than 50 former baseball alums, including many members on the 1994 NCAA Tournament team, will be returning to campus for next weekend’s annual baseball alumni reunion as part of the Baylor series at Kendrick Family Ballpark. The Mountaineers and Bears will play a three-game Big 12 series April 26-28.
In front of a record crowd, the baseball team defeated Pitt, 6-3, Tuesday (April 16) at Kendrick Family Ballpark. Up next, the Mountaineers will travel this weekend to take on Texas Tech. First pitch is 7:30 p.m. Friday (April 19) from Lubbock, Texas.
Sophomore Carson Kammann shot 10-under-par to lead the Mountaineers to a team championship with a tournament-record 18-under-par at the Mountaineer Invitational at Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport.
