West Virginia University has been notified that it should begin preparations to receive COVID-19 vaccine doses for its employees, potentially starting December 27 based on a phased distribution plan developed by the West Virginia Joint Interagency Task Force.
The Local to Global Film Series will discuss “Matewan” Dec.17 at 5:30 p.m. History professor Hal Gorby from the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences will lead the discussion.
A $2 million gift from the Hayhurst family will strengthen WVU’s entrepreneurship network and support a new facility at Reynolds Hall, the future home of the Chambers College of Business and Economics, to foster student innovation through collaboration.
To allow for continued construction on the new Reynolds Hall project, a portion of Beechurst Avenue will be closed at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, through 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14.
As we approach winter break at WVU, the WVU Shared Services storefront location at the Mountainlair (Room G4A) will be closed Tuesday, Dec.15, through Monday, Jan. 4; however, two additional storefront locations that will be open during this time to assist faculty and staff.
