MASCUP results  

The West Virginia University School of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported observation results for the seventh week of 'MASCUP!', an ongoing mask observation study.

The Office of Graduate Education and Life will host the 2021 Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) Virtual Grand Finale competition Thursday (April 15). The Grand Finale will feature 10 finalists delivering a unique presentation of their dissertation research which will be reviewed by a panel of judges for a shot at taking the top prize.

Jedd Gyorko playing baseball  

Former WVU All-American shortstop Jedd Gyorko was named manager of the West Virginia Black Bears in its inaugural season in the new MLB Draft League. The 32-year-old appeared in 42 games last year for the Milwaukee Brewers during a COVID-19 shortened 2020 season.

After tallying a career-high five saves in a 1-1 draw at No. 12 Virginia on April 10, sophomore goalkeeper Kayza Massey of the women's soccer team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
