Graduate Education Humanities  

University community members are invited to attend this virtual showcase to hear from doctoral students about their summer internship experiences working for various humanities-related employers from 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 12) on Zoom.

Learn more about teaching at OLLI during a virtual information session at 4 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 12) or 12:30 p.m. Friday (Sept. 15). OLLI is dedicated to providing short, non-credit educational programming designed for adults 50 and older.

OLLI and the WVU Committee of Retired Faculty will host “SECURE 2.0: A New Opportunity for Tax Smart Giving” presented by Matthew Clark, executive director of planned giving, at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 13) on Zoom.

WVU Libraries will launch an Art in the Libraries' exhibit on library transformation with featured speaker Emily Drabinski, president of the American Library Association, from 4-6 p.m. tomorrow (Sept. 12) at the Downtown Library.

September 11 Memorial  

The vigil begins at 8 a.m. Monday (Sept. 11). At 8:46 a.m., “Taps” will be played and a moment of silence will be observed, marking the time the first plane hit the World Trade Center.

Career Fair  

WVU Career Services will host the Agriculture and Natural Sciences Career and Internship Fair on Sept. 13, and the STEM Career and Internship Fair, expecting a record turnout of employers, will be held on Sept. 14. Both fairs will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Student Rec Center.
