Attend presentation on tax smart giving

OLLI and the WVU Committee of Retired Faculty will host “SECURE 2.0: A New Opportunity for Tax Smart Giving” presented by Matthew Clark, executive director of planned giving, at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 13) on Zoom. 

Clark, who has nearly 20 years of experience in the field, oversees estate and gift planning for WVU and has secured more than $128 million in planned gifts across the University. 

Before joining the WVU Foundation in 2016, he served as a vice president at PNC Institutional Investments, where he administered perpetual charitable trusts and advised institutions on planned giving strategies. 

He is an accredited estate planner, a board member and the president-elect of the Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council, and an active member of two other estate planning councils in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. 

Clark earned his juris doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Mississippi State University.
