The School of Music has collaborated with The Instrument Lab to open an in-house brass and woodwind instrument repair studio in the Canady Creative Arts Center, offering expert care of the state-owned instruments used daily by students and ensembles.

Six students who want to pursue careers in cancer research will be paired with a scientist as they complete a nine-week research project in the Cancer Institute research labs. The students will present their findings on Aug. 1.
The public meetings will be held this month to share data collected by the program and seek input from members of the TBI community regarding their needs within the state. The first meeting will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon June 26 at the WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities.

Graduate student Sarah Tait with the track and field team earned her second career First Team All-American honor at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Saturday (June 14) in Eugene, Oregon.
Junior Griffin Lake with the rifle team earned two additional medals at the USA Shooting Rifle National Championship in Anniston, Alabama.
