The University community is invited to a celebration honoring Dean of Students and Associate Vice President of Student Life Corey Farris who is set to retire after serving WVU for more than three decades. The drop-in celebration will be held from 2–4 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, in E. Moore Hall.
The WVU Board of Governors has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to amend BOG Talent and Culture Rule 3.5 — Employee Leave. The proposed amendments are designed to reduce cost while increasing flexibility for the University.
Effective July 1, any employee who has not used all available floating holiday hours through Applaud will forfeit those hours. The unused hours will be removed from the employee’s available floating holiday balance in the system.
