Mark your calendar for the next event in a series from the Office of the Provost focused on "Preparing for Accreditation 2024." The session, "HLC Accreditation Criterion 2 — Integrity: Ethical and Responsible Conduct" will take place at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 14, at the College of Law, Room 142.
Honorees include Vagner Augusto Benedito, professor of genetics and plant physiology in the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design; Michael Sherwin, associate professor of photography in the College of Creative Arts; and Weichao Tu, associate professor of space physics in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences.
The three are Erin Goodykoontz, teaching professor in the School of Mathematical and Data Sciences; Paul Miller, teaching professor and associate chair in the Department Physics and Astronomy; and Sarah Morris, assistant professor of English and coordinator of the Undergraduate Writing Program in the Department of English.
Join the Office of the Provost and the WVU Benedum Distinguished Scholars for an evening of dialogue about research, passion and purpose. Scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, the 2023 Benedum Scholars Showcase will be an in-person event at the Canady Creative Arts Center Gladys G. Davis Theatre.
Each year, at the direction of the Office of the Provost, the Academic Advising Council selects honorees for the Nicholas Evans Awards for Advising Excellence in recognition of outstanding advising and mentoring provided by faculty and professional advisers at WVU.
