On April 2, the LGBTQ+ Center will host a screening of the award-winning film “A Road to Home,” which tracks the lives of six homeless LGBTQ+ youth in New York City over an 18-month period.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion.
On April 9, the Native American Studies program will host a screening of “Daughter of a Lost Bird.” Susan Devan Harness, author-in-residence and member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai tribes, will give a keynote presentation and lead dialogue with the audience.
Both events will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in Field Hall, Room 4002.
The Human Rights Film Series is made possible by the WVU Community Human Rights Film Fund, established by Morgantown residents Don Spencer and the late Carol Howe Hamblen.
