Jason Cooley, a Mountain State native, Verizon executive and Florida resident who is turning 50 this week, was able to work through WVU Online and earn his bachelor’s degree from the University — a goal he’s had since graduating from high school.

Seven members of the WVU Soils Team were among the 199 participants from 27 schools across the country who recently gathered for the National Collegiate Soils Contest in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
