IMPACT WV program introduces multiple mini-grant opportunities

IMPACT WV Mother and Baby

The Center for Excellence in Disabilities is announcing three new mini-grant opportunities to support innovative projects focused on individual and family experiences with substance use — particularly for families with children ages 0-5 — to drive meaningful change in our communities.

Mini Grant 1: Four grants in the amount of $10,000 are available to support innovative projects focused on individual and family experiences with substance use, particularly for families with young children ages 0-5. Projects should address challenges related to substance use and its impact on individuals and families.

Mini Grant 2: Four grants in the amount of $10,000 are available to support research, training and/or initiatives that examine individual and family experiences with substance use, with a focus on families with young children ages 0-5.

Mini Grant 3: Eight grants are available in the amount of $15,000 for transportation support to help agencies provide essential services. This grant aims to assist individuals and/or families who are experiencing substance use, particularly families with young children ages 0-5, and who are seeking services at a specific location but facing costs associated with transportation.

Send applications and questions for grants one and two to Lesley Cottrell at lcottrell@hsc.wvu.edu.
