Dr. James R. Campbell II and John Linton  

Dr. Clay Marsh, chancellor and executive dean for WVU Health Sciences, announced Dr. James R. Campbell II will serve as interim dean for the WVU Health Sciences Charleston Campus beginning Sept. 1, following the retirement of John Linton, longstanding dean, associate vice president and professor.

Alumnus Harry Guenther, a West Mifflin, Pennsylvania native, will be supporting the University with a $500,000 planned gift to address the greatest needs of the School of Music.

Cub Club  

The Kids Corner is a project created by the WVU Tech Library team and funded through the Transformation Grant process to establish a study area for youth visiting campus with their family members. Monty’s Cub Club is a new way for children ages 16 and younger to show their Golden Bear spirit.

Finance University  

The week-long seminar will provide interactive presentations to help educators build their own financial capability while equipping them with the tools and resources needed to help K-12 students better understand personal finance.

Engineering Boot Camp  

Geared toward teachers from rural West Virginia, the one-day Engineering Boot Camp is a training program that will give teachers an opportunity to share ideas, lessons and connections for integrating science, technology, engineering and math into their school year curriculum.
