An event-packed Welcome Week at West Virginia University begins Thursday, Aug. 10, and continues into the start of the fall semester, Wednesday, Aug. 16, highlighting the many ways new and returning students can tap into their strengths, find their purpose and make a home on campus.

WVU departments and units that plan to hire student workers or Federal Work-Study students for fall positions are invited to participate in the Back-to-School Job Fairs hosted by WVU Career Services as part of Welcome Week on Aug. 15 and 23.
The planned gift from Gregory and Amber Nailler, of Mars, Pennsylvania, is worth more than $660,000. The funds will be divided equally to benefit athletics, education, health care and disability services.
To allow the WVU Parking team to upgrade its payment processing system, in-person transactions will be unavailable at the Mountaineer Station’s Parking Management Office Friday (Aug. 4).
To accommodate seal coating and painting in parking areas, parking lot ST-5 in Sunnyside in the downtown area of campus will be closed Friday (Aug. 4). During this time, parking is available in other short-term lots, including ST-2 at the Mountainlair.
Families in need can register to receive resources, including diapers, clothing, strollers and more, from the Noah's Ark Baby Pantry.
