Through each generation, faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends have passionately rallied behind the land-grant mission of West Virginia University. On March 20, we go above and beyond during the seventh Day of Giving, the annual fundraising event organized by the WVU Foundation.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to join the WVU Center for Community Engagement and AmeriCorps VISTA for a thought-provoking discussion on social action and advocacy throughout West Virginia from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday (March 20) in the Mountainlair, Shenandoah Room.
The WVU Planetarium will present two in-person shows Friday (March 22). All shows are free and open to the public on a first come, first served basis.
The event will include performances by The Duke Robillard Band, Cedric Burnside, Sam Weber, Las Cafeteras and The Black Feathers beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday (March 24) at the Canady Creative Arts Center.
Faculty and staff volunteers will contribute significantly to the experience and success of the event by assisting shoppers in selecting the perfect career outfit to elevate their professional image and more.
