WVU Values Coin recipients encouraged to register their coins

2023 WVU Values Coin

As West Virginia University prepares to begin issuing the 2023 WVU Values Coins in the coming weeks, faculty and staff who have received coins in previous years are encouraged to register their coins in the WVU Values Coin Registry.

Register your WVU Values Coin.

Doing so will help WVU maintain an accurate list of all prior coin recipients and identify those 2022 coin recipients who will receive a 2023 coin and be asked to “pay it forward.”

It should be noted that there are a select number of faculty and staff who have received multiple WVU Values Coins throughout the past several years. These individuals are asked to complete a separate entry in the registry for each coin they received.

Further, faculty and staff who previously registered a WVU Values Coin and need to add or update information related to their coin should contact the Leadership and Organization Development team at LOD@mail.wvu.edu.

The WVU Values Coin program is designed to recognize employees who embody our Mountaineer Values and go above and beyond to bring our land-grant mission to life.

The program began in 2017 as part of the University’s 150th anniversary. Although it originally was intended to last only one year, the program proved to be popular among faculty and staff, so it has continued in subsequent years.

Visit the Talent and Culture website for more information on the WVU Values Coin program and its history. Contact the Leadership and Organization Development team at LOD@mail.wvu.edu or 304-293-7217 with any questions.
