The Division of Campus Engagement and Compliance issued a notification to a group of employees identified as needing to complete Title IX training. However, upon further review, it became clear that some individuals who have already fulfilled this requirement were inadvertently included in the outreach.
To clarify, the online training module delivered by Vector Solutions is titled “Building Supportive Communities: Clery Act and Title IX (Full Course).” This title should not be confused with the Clery Act Campus Security Authority training facilitated by the WVU Clery Act Coordinator. Although both address important areas of compliance, they are distinct training courses administered by different entities.
At this time, if you have completed Title IX training within the last three years, no further action is required. For those who have not yet completed it, this is a great opportunity to do so and remain in compliance with university expectations.
Please also note that the email from Vector Solutions may have been filtered to your junk or spam folder, so we encourage you to check those locations if you believe you did not receive the message but may be due for training.
Thank you again for your attention to this matter and for your continued commitment to fostering a safe and respectful environment at WVU.
