Riding the PRT is free for WVU students and employees. The PRT system has five stations on all three areas of campus, and it’s one of the most efficient and sustainable ways to get around campus.
To ride, just swipe your card or pay, click the button next to your chosen destination, enter through the turnstiles, and wait for your ride. Use the digital signage across the platforms to know when your vehicle is arriving and where you can board.
While using the PRT, be sure to follow all guidelines to ensure your safety. If you have any questions or concerns while using the PRT, please use the assistance telephones located on each platform to talk directly to PRT Central Control.
Masks are required for all passengers – regardless of vaccination status – on the PRT and WVU buses through March 18, under updated federal guidelines from the Transportation Security Administration.
Visit the PRT website for more information.
