WVU United Way Campaign at halfway point

united way logo

As we reach the halfway point of the 2021 WVU United Way Campaign, we have received generous donations of more than $100,000 so far. The campaign will continue through Oct. 29, and we challenge our campus community to raise another $100k during the second half of the month. You have the opportunity to positively impact our local community by making a donation today.

Your contribution, no matter the size, can create a tremendous impact on our community. For example:

  • $5 = a backpack of food for a kid over the weekend.

  • $10 = round-trip travel to a person for a medical appointment.

  • $25 = one book a month for one year for a child from birth to five years old.

  • $50 = one week’s worth of groceries for a family of four.

  • $80 = utilities for a family for one month.

  • $100 = five weeks or before/after school care for a child.

Whether you choose to make a donation with a payroll deduction, donating online using a credit or debit card, by texting MOUNTAINS2022 or with Venmo @UnitedWayMPC, it will only take a few minutes of your time. Anything helps, and our community will feel the impact of your kindness.
